A beautiful Volkswagen van with the pop up tent on top. The vehicle has only 75k miles on the odometer, a clean Carfax reports reflecting many service intervals including work done by our own Stevens Creek Volkswagen right here next to American Motors. The vehicle has the pop up tent on top, the pop up table and is super clean inside and out. There are wear marks on the door panels and the rear bumper, as well as some wear on the tent itself. The vehicle has numerous scratches, touched up chips etc. all over that is consistent with age of a 20 year old vehicle. Paint on the rear bumper has been chipped and the rear bumper is scheduled to be resprayed in the coming week. Overall the car is in very good shape for the age, safety check and a California smog inspection has just been done and the vehicle is ready for a new owner. Warranty:
American Motors Custom & Classics does a full safety inspection and detail before merchandising, display, or sale of any of our vehicles. We want you to rest assured the vehicle you are buying has been looked at, inspected, and is safe to operate regardless of your location. That being said, these vehicles are sometimes up 100 years old, and they do not come with any warranty from us and are being sold in as-is condition. If you are a local buyer with a mechanic, we definitely encourage you to take a look at the vehicle in person before bidding.
Condition:
American Motors Custom & Classics will try in good faith to fully describe any and all features of our vehicles, as well as known issues with the cars and their functionality. We are in this for the long term and will depend on referral, good word of mouth, and good karma to keep our business and foundation strong. If there is an issue we know about, you will be told no matter how minor. That being said, the vehicles are in as-is condition being sold in that fashion.
Shipping:
Buyer is responsible for shipping the vehicle unless otherwise agreed upon. We will be happy to ship vehicles to local residents within 150 miles of San Jose for no charge. Other than that, you are responsible for obtaining shipping quotes and getting the vehicle shipped. Our agents will fully cooperate with your shipping company to handle the logistics.
Taxes:
The buyer is responsible for taxes on the vehicle in your state or province. We will collect sales tax from all California residents. All out of state residents are responsible for knowing your own state taxes.  Prices shows exclude tax, license and documentation charge, any emission testing charge.
General Payment Terms We Accept:
Cashier's Check Personal check once cleared Cash or Money Order American Motors Custom & Classics will require immediate payment of a 0 deposit either through credit card or Paypal within 48 hours of Auction close. We expect the remainder of the funds within a week of the auction close. If you are paying by personal check, your check will need to clear our bank before we hand the vehicle to your shipper. American Motors Custom & Classics reserves the right to cancel bids and end auction if the vehicle sells outside of Ebay for any reason.
