    Description

An Iroquois beadwork slipper - with the whisk broom it was made to hold included ...  This is larger than most vintage whimsey slippers -  This has a sewn on thread "hanger" at back top - this is intended to be a whisk broom wall pocket   - see description of condition above.... You could use the beads included to repair - and buy more if needed at any craft or sewing shop.
This is 9" long total, toe is 5" long, toe is 4" across and about 1.5" deep.  Whisk broom is 5" long and 2.75" across at widest (Bottom)  This has mostly clear glass seed beads on a red background - I believe cotton serge.  There are some clear green and pink beads with a few gold, pink and white larger glass tubular beads -
Haven't seen many of these larger size "slippers" and only a couple that include the whisk broom!
See photo of back to see the tear/crack across the cardboard "pattern" .... Most of the Iroquois whimseys have a cloth backing sewn over the cardboard patterns... this one does not.
